And if life is that of the urbane and personable, His Excellency, Prince.Dr. Chinedu Emeka ( Ikenga Anam ) is leading the charge for a society that is built on genuine philanthropy, touching lives across all boundaries and instituting a dynamic wave of love and passion for humanity. No doubt, Prince Chinedu Emeka, Ph,D, is an institution in his own right having achieved so much, given so much and still giving back to society. A man so rich in spirit, character and materials.
As the world marks his 60th birthday, he would meditate on his life lesson. One wishes that he would do that listening to the song, “Courage, brother, do not stumble…”.
Ikenga Anam does not lend itself to embellishments, it is an inspirational and captivating study of the triumph of mind over matter.
His legendary generosity and willingness to do good at all times is documented in the hearts of millions. He has a deep sense of conviction. These qualities combined to invest in him the respectful title ‘Ikenga Olu na Igbo’. That is why on his 60th birthday, he deserves a toast and song, “Happy birthday to you…” Above all, he deserves a prayer from everyone who is on the side of truth in the eternal battle between truth and falsehood.

PROFILE
Prince Chinedu Emmanuel Emeka, Ph.D., FNCS was born on Christmas day to H.R.H Igwe J.C. Emeka and Madam Theresa Emeka both of Umueze Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
After secondary school, he proceeded to the United States of America where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and master’s degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering). He returned to Nigeria and participated in the mandatory National Youths Service in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
After a 21 year hiatus, he enrolled for Ph.D. in computer science at Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka. The topic of his dissertation “A model for Predicting Crime Trend and Offender Profiling” was deliberately chosen to afford him an opportunity to look into the ever rising crime wave in Nigeria. As part of the exercise, He developed a Data Mining Software to profile offenders and predict crime trend. He successfully completed his Ph.D. studies in April, 2012.
Dr. Chinedu Emeka is a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society and a member of the Computer Professional Registration Council Of Nigeria.
He has been elected into several Political offices including:
Member representing Anambra West in the Anambra State House of Assembly (1991 – 1993)
Member representing Anambra East & West Federal Constituency, House of Representatives (1997)
Deputy Governor of Anambra State (1999 – 2003)
He has also served Government in various capacities including:
Chairman, Anambra State Transition committee (for the government of Dr. C.C Mbadinuju 1999)
Member, Anambra State Handover Committee (for the government of Chief Willie Obiano 2014)
Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Public Utilities, Water Resources (2014 – 2015)
Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Science & Technology (2015)
Dr. Chinedu Emeka is married to Dr. Ekene Emeka. They are blessed with two children; Chinedu Alexander Emeka and Ngozi Raquel Emeka.
In recognition of his selfless service to humanity and philanthropy, he has been bestowed several traditional titles. He particularly cherishes the titles of Ikenga and Afu enyi Amalu Enyi bestowed on him by Anam and Nteje respectively
His hobbies include watching science fiction films and computer programming.
