Renowned Life Coach, Dr. Cosmas Mmaduka, Shares Inspiring Insights on Discovering Purpose

In a recent Facebook post, Dr. Cosmas Mmaduka, a respected life coach and motivational speaker, shared his personal journey of discovering purpose, emphasizing that it is a unique and deeply personal experience for every individual.

A Personal Journey of Self-Discovery

Dr. Mmaduka recounts his humble beginnings, from serving in his uncle’s store as a young boy to collaborating with his brother on a business venture that ultimately didn’t work out. Despite facing frustration and uncertainty, Dr. Mmaduka refused to give up and instead turned to prayer and reflection. By writing down his desires and aspirations, he slowly began to gain clarity on his purpose, and as he acted on those ideas, they started to manifest into reality.

Purpose: A Journey, Not a Destination

Dr. Mmaduka emphasizes that purpose is not a fixed destination, but rather a journey that unfolds as one grows and takes deliberate steps towards their passions. He notes that purpose may not always be grand at the beginning, but with consistency and persistence, it expands and evolves.

The Power of Writing Down Your Vision

Dr. Mmaduka references the Bible, which says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it” (Habakkuk 2:2). He stresses the importance of writing down one’s vision and goals, as this helps to clarify and focus one’s purpose.

A Call to Action: Pursue Your Purpose

Dr. Mmaduka concludes by encouraging readers to take action and pursue their purpose. He quotes Jim Rohn, who said, “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” Dr. Mmaduka offers a special gift to those who are ready to pursue their purpose and take action, inviting them to type “I will pursue my purpose” in the comments to qualify.

This inspiring post serves as a reminder that discovering purpose is a personal and evolving journey that requires patience, persistence, and self-reflection. By writing down one’s vision and goals, and taking deliberate steps towards their passions, individuals can unlock their purpose and live a more fulfilling life.

EXCERPT

Many great philosophers have tried to define purpose based on their personal experiences and observations. However, purpose is deeply personal, it is unique to every individual. It is the reason you were created, the mark you are destined to leave in the world.

To be honest, defining and discovering purpose is not something that happens overnight. I remember when I left my uncle’s store after serving him for years as a boi-boi. At that point, I had no clear path. My brother and I collaborated to start something together, but it didn’t work out. I was frustrated but knew I couldn’t give up.

I had to sit myself down in prayer and reflection. I began to write out the things I wanted in life, the things that stirred my heart. Slowly and steadily, as I acted on those ideas, clarity began to come. The things I wrote down started to manifest into reality.

Let me tell you this, Purpose is not a destination; it is a journey. It evolves as you grow and as you take deliberate steps toward what you are passionate about. Purpose is not always grand at the beginning, but with consistency, it expands.

The Bible says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it” (Habakkuk 2:2). Purpose gives you direction, it sets you running toward a goal greater than yourself.

Jim Rohn once said, “If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

Don’t overthink it. Purpose doesn’t have to be something far-fetched. Start where you are. Pursue purpose.

I have a special gift for only a few people. If you’re ready to pursue your purpose and take action, type “I will pursue my purpose” in the comments to qualify.
