There is something called an extended family and a nuclear family. When a man marries and starts having his own kids, his siblings become his extended family, while his wife and kids are his nuclear family.
Everyone has their own problems and personal family issues. I am a mom of three, previously married and now I am left to care for my kids alone with little or no financial help. I am a business woman, I also work. Basically I have my own thing going for me and before God and man, I try as much as I can to not poke my nose in anyone else’s business.
A few times in the past, people have reached out to me about Emeka’s atrocities, I sympathize with them emphatically, many of them will read this post and attest to it that I give them listening ears and send them to his other family members to handle the issue, most times it gets resolved.
For some time now I stopped getting any reports since he relocated to the UK, I felt that at last, he had turned a new leaf completely. I was happy, I assisted him from time to time with the little I have, I felt he was really struggling, the reports we get from Scotland is that he is always working around the clock because he is the dependant. I never knew he was rich and was balling, if I had known, I would have not been sending him money at intervals, I would have used my resources to better the lives of my kids and the people I can help one way or the other.
It was during the festive season that I saw a comment copied and pasted all over 20 different posts calling me and my family members scammers. I reached out to my younger brother Izuchukwu and asked him if he knew the person, he laughed and said “oh Nne they finally found you too, I knew it was only going to be a matter of time seeing as you are a public figure” Who are they that you are talking about? That was when he started telling me what Emeka has been up to, this man went as far as listing his younger brother’s house as the residence of his scam company and that people were trooping into his house to harass him and his wife, they lived in fear to the extent that they had to pack and leave that location.
I was devastated, please note that till this moment, apart from that malicious comment I saw on my post, none of his victims had personally reached out to me.
I quietly went to my WhatsApp and blocked him because we already had a very strained relationship, I can go a year without chatting with him or calling him, I only communicated with his wife until recently when he convinced the wife that all of us are demons that should be avoided.
Until Sunday night I was about to sleep, I started getting calls, Somack called me first, Luba called me too, I went to messenger and I saw that onifoto was dragging me and my family for a crime an old man allegedly committed. Nobody reached out to me privately.
Emeka’s partner in crime, Leslie kept saying she or they reached out to me, please show me the evidence of the chats apart from one very rude photographer that came to my WhatsApp to insult me, up until now I haven’t seen even one chat from his victims but kola was all over the place chanting empathy, how am I supposed to empathize with people who I didn’t even know existed?
It was when the whole drama was happening that I reached out to Emeka’s wife to get the full details that was when she told me that her sister ate 70 percent of that money she is accusing her husband of eating and that we should insist that she sends proof of payment for those hundreds of millions the Leslie claimed she paid her husband. She went ahead to tell me Leslie stayed at wellington hotel in warri for three months and that the same Leslie that is everywhere claiming to be a victim bought two cars at once and threw a huge burial for her father in-law and that they bought a car for their mom and renovated their house in warri.
There are other details bothering on noods being leaked and the Leslie being blackmailed that she added but I don’t want to go into such details.
Long or short of it is that, I want the people involved to go into Emeka’s statement of accounts and check to see where and where he ever gave me a dime, let them tell me who is actually doing the funding because the last time I checked I am the one working my ass off to assist in the little way I can. Please it’s very important you check this very fact 🙏
Number 2, please as you are dragging me that I am the sister of a w!cked scammer even though one naira I no see chop and even the Emeka in question is penniless, please insist that Leslie the innocent angel that is trying to help her Victims, tell her to bring all the receipts she used in paying Emeka the 200 million plus and the 30k pounds she claimed she gave him.
Again if a relative opts to live a life of crime, I will always deny him or her completely and disassociate myself from the person both publicly and privately. I have my own life to live, I have my own kids to worry about and train. I will not be dragged into another adult’s bad decisions or greed.
I have said it severally here that I will never allow myself to be associated with scammers. I never tagged or promoted him here, I have never come here to tell you one day that Emeka is my brother, I have my reasons for this, no be everything person dey talk. I have gone for three years at a time without speaking with this person.
Please please please deal with him as a full fledged man, no be me even senior am, I am way younger yet I am being dragged for his sins and as for Leslie, please tell her to send all the payment receipts because the ones I have gotten from Emeka’s wife so far, I am seeing only 40m out of 200m she claimed she paid.
