Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the winner of the Best African Music category at the Grammys this Sunday—Tems! She’s definitely taking it home with her song Love Me Jeje.
P.S. Tomorrow by Yemi Alade is another strong contender, though. And as much as I love Davido and Lojay, anything that’ll make Sensational by Chris Brown ft. Davido and Lojay win that category, I reject it with my full chest! I can’t handle another Tyla-type incident happening again – Daniel Nsa

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to celebrate the incredible talent that is Tems! With her captivating song “Love Me Jeje,” she is undoubtedly taking home the award for Best African Music at the Grammys this Sunday. A Strong Contender: Yemi Alade’s “Tomorrow”

While Tems is the clear frontrunner, Yemi Alade’s “Tomorrow” is another exceptional song that deserves recognition. Yemi Alade’s powerful voice, infectious energy, and inspiring lyrics make “Tomorrow” a compelling contender in the Best African Music category.

Rejecting the Idea of “Sensational” Winning

However, as much as we adore Davido and Lojay, the idea of “Sensational” by Chris Brown ft. Davido and Lojay winning the award is simply unacceptable. We cannot risk another Tyla-type incident happening again. The very thought of it is cringe-worthy!

Tems’ “Love Me Jeje” is a masterpiece that showcases her artistic growth, creativity, and dedication to her craft. She has worked tirelessly to promote African music globally, and this award would be a well-deserved recognition of her efforts.
