Unbelievably, as the #PeoplesGovernor focused on consolidating his victory, Ihedioha was secretly back at the Supreme Court, attempting to revive a case he lost four years earlier. On the eve of the 2023 gubernatorial election, he foolishly sought to overturn his 2020 defeat, hoping to exploit the timing to destabilize the state. His strategy, if it can be called that, was not only legally baseless but also politically suicidal. The judiciary once again dismissed his antics with the disdain they deserved, reaffirming that his brand of treachery has no place in Imo politics.

Having failed to upturn his 2020 ouster and lost his footing in the PDP, Ihedioha turned to the likes of Omu, a discredited Fugitive whose credibility is as questionable as Ihedioha’s own tactics.
