Yesterday, 23rd January 2025, The Deputy Director General, Sir Paul Chukwuma Campaign Council North, Hon. Ralph Okeke Nze Akajiugo formally inaugurated the local government Cordinators of the Campaign Council today, along side Local government Cordinators of other various groups who will work under them in the various local governments.
Those inaugurated as the local government Cordinators of the Campaign are;
1. Hon. Chigbo Enwezor – Onitsha North
2. Dr. Emeka Agbanu- Onitsha South
3. Hon. Victor Okoye- Anambra West
4. Barr. Nonso H Nwaebili – Ogbaru.
5. Chief Emeka Nzekwe – Anambra East.
6. Hon Chief Mrs Ebele Onyeachonam – Oyi.
7. Hon. Chizor Obidigwe – Ayamelum.
Chief Nnamdi Egoigwe will be deputising, Hon. Enwezor in Onitsha North Const. 2, while Mr Philip Nwatu will be deputising Barr Nwaebili in Ogbaru.
Local government Cordinators of other groups who were also inaugurated to work under them are;
1. The 14 Contact & Mobilization Directorate Cordinators for 7 LGA (male & female) with their 3 leaders
2. The 14 Cordinators of Ikemba Front in the 7 LGAs (male & female).
3. The 7 Cordinators of Ikemba Ladies for Sir Paul in the 7 LGAs
4. The 7 Local government Cordinators of Ikemba Youths for Sir Paul Chukwuma and 3 state and national leaders of Ikemba Front
5. The 7 Local government Cordinators of Youth Coalition for Sir Paul Chukwuma.
6. The 4 Local government Cordinators of Omabala ladies for Sir Paul Chukwuma in the 4 LGAs.
The event was witnessed by the 7 Local government Party Chairmen in Anambra North.
Speaking on the occation, Hon. Ralph Okeke charged the Cordinators to swing into action and bring the entire party members together from local government, through the wards down to the Polling Units for Paul Chukwuma to win not only the ticket of the ruling APC during the forth coming primary election, but the governorship election in Anambra come November 2025.
Party members commended Sir Paul Chukwuma’s grassroots/all inclusive approach to politics stressing that the only reason why they will not consider another Aspirant is because of the Zeal Sir Paul has shown in uniting and rebranding the party.
They also encouraged the Aspirant Sir Paul Chukwuma to look beyond distractions, act as a father of the party, and bring every Party member together, including those that have recently shown interest to run for the same election.
Barr Nonso H Nwaebili Ugobuezennunu while making his comment after the official inauguration, thanked Sir Paul Chukwuma for the opportunity of nominating A dedicated youth from the riverine area of Anambra as a Local Government Cordinator, it goes to show that youths will be fully carried along when Sir Paul becomes the Governor Anambra.
The young Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker House of Representative Abuja also thanked the Party Chairmen for keeping the party safe under lock and keep away from external aggression but stressed that This is the time to open up the party so that new members can Join APC as this will further strengthen the party’s capacity at the grassroots while promising to join hands with other APC leaders to ensure that Sir Paul Chukwuma wins 100/100 in both Primary Election and Governorship Election in Ogbaru.
Hon Chief Chigbo Enwezor a former member of the House of Assembly who was inaugurated as the Cordinator Onitsha North gave his vote of thanks and assured Sir Paul Chukwuma that Integrity will be the watchword to ensure victory for Sir Paul Chukwuma in the primaries and for APC come November 2025.
