Actress Bukky Wright has shed light on her hiatus from acting after relocating to the United States, explaining how her career took a new direction during her time abroad.
In an interview with The Punch, Bukky disclosed that she ventured into the tech industry, a path many doubted she could pursue successfully. She said:“I will be practising it [tech] simultaneously with entertainment. The fact that I had to deviate totally from entertainment to tech was something many people thought I would not be able to do. I would tell all my mentees that if I can do it, they can do it too.”Reflecting on her time away, the actress revealed what she missed most about Nigeria. Her words:“What I would love to eat again would be proper Naija amala. What I would like to do again would be to act with Nollywood actors.”Addressing her much-anticipated return to Nollywood, Bukky Wright assured fans of exciting projects in the pipeline.
