Obasi Breaks Silence on Crashed Marriage to Judy, Secures Multimillion Naira Endorsement Deal
In a recent interview with ONOWU IGBO TV, Mr. Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy, opened up about their crashed marriage, which officially ended in 2013. Obasi’s revelation comes on the heels of his latest achievement – securing a multimillion Naira endorsement deal with AA EMMACO, an oil and gas firm.
According to Obasi, his marriage to Judy was marked by incompatible ambitions. He claimed that Judy had higher prospects in life, and her desire to become a movie star was not shared by him. Despite Judy’s efforts to involve him in her acting career, Obasi maintained that he had no interest in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.
Obasi also revealed that Judy’s bride price had been returned to him, effectively ending their marriage. He advised those who still refer to Judy as his wife to desist from doing so, stating that their marriage had officially ended years ago.

First of all I congratulate Mr Obasi ( Judy’s husband) for securing a multimillion Naira endorsement deal from AA EMMACO, an oil and gas firm. At least he is finally remembered.
I watched the interview he granted to ONOWU IGBO TV concerning his crashed marriage with Judy years ago. Until Judy replies him, it is still a one sided story.
From his narration, I realized that he wrongly married a woman who has higher prospects in life than him. Judy also tried her best to carry her husband along as she works towards achieving her ambition of becoming a movie star but Obasi showed no interest, hence her decision to drop him and moved on without allowing the money her husband had invested in training her in the university to tie her down.
Obasi confirmed it by himself that Judy wanted him to join movie industry but he refused because he has no such ambition. Judy then decided to end the marriage and move on.
Mr Obasi also confirmed that Judy’s bride prize has being returned to him. So those who still regard Judy as Obasi’s wife simply chose to be mischievous. Their marriage officially ended since 2013 according to Mr Obasi.
Now my advise to Mr Obasi is not to dwell in the past. Both of them has moved on. Even Judy has achieved her aim of leaving him. Judy has also given him some visibilities just as Yul gave May visibility. Without referring himself as “Judy’s ex husband” , nobody would stop-by to listen to what he got to say.
Mr Obasi should not build his social media presence on pities and by emotionally manipulating Nigerians with the stories of his crashed marriage with Judy because we will wrestle with him. He is now married to a lady whom he has same vision in life with.
Judy is like a person going to somewhere but missed the direction to her destination. When she realized that she has missed the road to her destination, she quickly turned back and followed the right way. Thank God that today, she has reached her destination and she has realized her lifelong ambition of becoming a movie star and that is all that matters.
