The National Campaign Council of APC/Ukachukwu/Ekwunife was yesterday Friday 31st October, 2025 inuagurated at the All Saint Anglican Cathedral Church Field, Onisha, heralding the 2025 Anambra State Gubernatorial Electioneering Campaign official flagg-off
The National Inauguration delegation led by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ably represented by the Senate President, Sen. Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCFR, who also doubles as the Chairman of Nigerian National Assembly.
However, on arrival from Abuja at the Chinua Achebe International Passenger And Cargo Airport, Umueri, Sen. Akpabio and his entourage proceeded straight to Obi of Onitsha’s palace, to pay homage to the revered king and also received royal blessing from Igwe Dr. Nneamaka Ugochukwu Alfred Achebe
In his remarks, the President of the Senate, Sen. Dr. Akpabio, started his speech in a prayerful mood, then later told the throng APC supporters that he married from Anambra State which automatically makes him their In-law, therefore, promised them that they shall never be alone, hence, they will vote and their votes will be counted and protected
While addressing the mammoth crowd, the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, astonished by the cheering and teeming APC supporters declared that APC has come to stay in Anambra for good
And briefly in his address to the audience, the Imo State Governor, Sen Dr. Hope Uzodimma, reaffirmed he is present of not been alone at the Inuaguration/ flagg-off, but here’ representing the 24 (Twenty-Four) APC Governors, then further, told Ndi-Anambra that his name is HOPE, and he has brought them HOPE at last
Finally, the incoming Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the fast approaching Saturday 8th November, 2025 Anambra State Elections, *Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, MFR, FNIPR, (Ikukuoma Ndigbo), began his remarks with the song/mantra stating that on Tinubu mandate they shall stand and equally reel-out some of his campaign promises as contained in his manifesto
High-point of the campaign flagg-off was the official pronouncement of the Inauguration of the campaign council and handing over of the party’s flag with a symbol of broom to Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, MFR, FNIPR, (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) and his deputy, Sen. Uche Ekwunife, PhD CON, (Iyom), thereafter, introduction of the four Serving Members of Anambra State House of Assembly
