The Untold Story of Judy, Yul, and Obasi: A Must-Read
In the issue of Judy, Yul and Obasi, once you patch this side, the other side will start leaking. Even when Obasi said it categorically that he is not sure if Judy dated Yul while still married to him (Obasi), Judy’s hâtérs are going about twisting what Obasi said.
Yul met Judy inside a bus. Judy was crying inside the bus due to her unsuccessful attempts to secure admission into UNN. Among all the people inside the bus, only Yul was kind enough to ask her why she was crying and she narrated her ordeal to him. That was the first encounter between Yul and Judy.
It was inside that bus Yul offered to put her through in movie industry. Yul was so kind that he offered to help both her and her husband become movie stars because he is an insider and has the capacity to fix them into movie industry.
But before her encounter with Yul inside the bus, she has being nursing an ambition to become a movie star. Mr Obasi said this in the interview. So Yul did not compel her to become an actress with an intention to date her. If Yul had an ulterior motive, he wouldn’t had offered to help her husband too. Yul was genuinely moved to lift the family after seeing her cry. .
When Judy came back home after meeting Yul, she narrated her encounter with Yul to her husband. Meanwhile, they were then living at Mkpor in Anambra state.
I believe her insistence to relocate to Enugu while doing part-time studies at UNIZIK Awka, was because there was the presence of Nollywood in Enugu. It was of recent Asaba overtook Enugu in having the presence of NOLLYWOOD stars. Before, Enugu was a hub for movie shootings. Most OGs in Nollywood industry started from Enugu before Asaba was discovered.
If Judy divorced Obasi and moved to Enugu, she didn’t take the decision because she wanted to be with Yul. She was pursuing something very important to her and that was becoming an actress. If Obasi had supported her ambition to delve into acting, Judy would still be Obasi’s wife till today.
Judy already had two children with Obasi. Yul has not made good money at that time. Infact, Obasi was doing well financially more than Yul at that time. So how could she divorce Obasi to marry Yul who was not richer than her husband?
Yul did not compel Judy to divorce her husband. Judy personally took the decision to leave Obasi due to their incompatibilities. Yul was already married to his beautiful wife, May Edochie.
The question of what happened later between Yul and May and Yul decided to marry Judy should be left for Yul to answer because he who wears the shoe knows where it pinches him. We observe…we don’t peep.
