IKUKUOMA AND IYOM RECEIVES ENDORSEMENT FOR GOVERNOR AND DEPUTY GOVERNOR, FROM ANAMBRA STATE 76 MARKET TRADERS
The Prime Gubernatorial Candidate and the Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the fast approaching Saturday 8th November, 2025 Anambra elections, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, MFR, FNIPR, (lkukuoma Ndigbo), and Sen. Uche Ekwunife, PhD. CON, (Iyom), respectively, has received endorsement from Anambra State 76 Market Traders
The Endorsement coming on the heels of the various markets traders in Anambra State rejection of the failed Soludo-led government with emphasis on over-taxation, insecurity, thuggery, intimidation and imposed caretaker committees across markets around the State.
Precisely, the event held on Saturday 25th October, 2025 at All Saints Cathedral Field, of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government area.
However, the leaders of the Anambra State 76 market traders, who also doubles as their President-General, Nze Theo Obiora, (Chinaechendo Na Uga), reaffirmed their unconditional position and decision to pinch their tenth with Ikukuoma-Iyom joint-ticket
Nze Theo Obiora, who in uniformity with the various market traders having reposed their confidence on Ikukuoma/Iyom project, openly declared and orally endorsed the candidature of Ukachukwu-Ekwunife right at the event without mixing words nor apologies.
In his remarks, Ukachukwu, Stated that he recognize traders as critical stakeholders, hence, he is aware that traders consists of more than 80% of Anambra State indigenes, because being a trader makes him understand the problems of traders more than any other candidate in this election.
Addressing the traders, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, specifically, talks about how he is going to transform Anambra State beginning by making the State very safe and secure for trading and business to thrive
Ikukuoma speaking further, reiterated also how he will take advantage of the large quantity deposit of Gas at Omasi in Ayamelum Local Government, to generate and transmit electricity in abundance not just for use in the State, but for commercial purposes to other neighbouring States.
High point of the event, was the unanimous presentation of a cheque of 50 Million Naira by Anambra State Market Traders to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, toward his electioneering campaign.
