Ekwunife, Congratulates Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, on Landmark Project Commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR

Senator Uche Ekwunife CON, the Anambra Apc Deputy Governorship Candidate has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, following the commissioning of several landmark infrastructure projects by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Owerri, Imo State signifying the federal government’s commitment to development in the Southeast region.

President Tinubu, during his working visit to Imo State, inaugurated a series of legacy projects executed under Governor Uzodinma’s administration. Key among them were the reconstructed Owerri-Mbaise-Obowo-Umuahia Road, the Assumpta Twin Flyover in Owerri, and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre.

These initiatives are expected to boost connectivity, ease traffic congestion, and enhance economic activities in the state. In a statement released by her media office, Senator Ekwunife praised Governor Uzodinma’s visionary leadership and the collaborative efforts with the federal government that made these projects possible.

“I commend my dear brother, Senator Hope Uzodinma, for his unwavering dedication to transforming Imo State into a hub of progress and innovation. The commissioning of these landmark projects by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a testament to what can be achieved through purposeful governance and strategic partnerships,” she said.

Senator Ekwunife, a grassroot politician in Anambra and the running mate to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu in the upcoming Anambra gubernatorial election under the All Progressives Congress (APC), used the occasion to assure residents of Anambra State that similar progressive leadership is on the horizon.

“Anambra will soon experience the dividends of progressive governance under the Ukachukwu-Ekwunife Mandate. We are committed to replicating and surpassing such developmental strides, ensuring inclusive growth, infrastructure upgrades, and economic empowerment for all Anambrarians,” she added.

Ekwunife envisioned an Anambra where infrastructure, health care, and education are at the forefront of governance. She underscored the importance of entrusting these aspirations to capable hands, drawing inspiration from the ongoing successes in Imo State. “Let us learn from each other; let us build bridges rather than walls,” she urged, calling for a united front against the multifaceted challenges that plague the region.

The Ukachukwu-Ekwunife ticket, which received President Tinubu’s endorsement earlier this year when he presented the APC gubernatorial flag to the duo, positions itself as a beacon of change for Anambra ahead of the November 2025 polls.

Governor Uzodinma, in his address at the commissioning, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his support and highlighted the projects’ role in fostering regional integration. The event was attended by dignitaries including several governors, federal ministers, and local leaders, underscoring its significance.
