IKUKUOMA UNDERSCORES OMASI GAS DEPOSIT, SOLICIT FOR VOTES AT AWKA-SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CAMPAIGN RALLY
The Erudite Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the upcoming Saturday 8th November, 2025 Anambra State Elections, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, MFR, FNIPR, (Ikukuoma Ndigbo), has underscored the abundance and large deposits of Gas at Omasi, in Ayamelum Local Government.
The Awka-South campaign rally took place at Ezindi-Ichie Hall, Umudioka Town, witnessed unprecedented huge turn-out of members of the campaign council, hierarchy of Party structures, support groups, and enthusiast from across the 20 (Twenty) Wards of Awka-South Local Government.
In his remarks, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, specifically, underscores how he is going to transform Anambra State beginning by stable electricity supplies through the construction of a 25- Megawatt power plant, functional water scheme that delivers clean water to every homes and making the State very safe and secure for trading and business to thrive
Ikukuoma speaking further, reiterated also that he will take advantage of the abundance and large quantity deposit of Gas at Omasi in Ayamelum Local Government, to generate and transmit electricity in bulk, not just for use in the State, but for commercial purposes to other neighbouring States.
However, addressing the crowd, Ikukuoma’s deputy, Senator Uche Ekwunife, one of Anambra’s most accomplished politicians, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the people of Awka South for their steadfast support. She noted that true lovers of progress and prosperity must rally behind the APC, which she described as the only vehicle capable of delivering genuine change.
Consequently, Awka-South Ikukuoma/Iyom/APC Campaign Council, Cordinator, Hon. Lady Ifeanyinwa Chinwuko, added that while political parties provide a platform, a leader’s integrity and track record ultimately define them.
