The Akpoti Pattern: A Family Affair of Lies, Manipulation, and Evasion

There comes a point where truth must be told, not out of malice, but out of a need for clarity and accountability. The Akpoti family has repeatedly demonstrated an alarming inability to take responsibility for their actions. Instead of admitting fault, owning up to their mistakes, or simply saying “I’m sorry”, they spin webs of lies, create distractions, and drag innocent people into their chaotic mess.
A prime example is Senator Natasha Akpoti. Rather than acknowledging her ignorance of basic Senate rules and simply moving to her designated seat, she let pride and arrogance take over. What could’ve been resolved with a simple apology became a circus of baseless accusations, allegations of sexual harassment, organ harvesting, gender-based oppression, and more, taken all the way to the international community: the UN, IPU, and even my name, Prof. Mgbeke, was dragged into it.
She denied ever contacting me. A bold lie. And now, her brother, Okehi Akpoti, has shown that this behavior is not isolated; it runs in their bloodline.
On May 13, 2025, Okehi begged me privately, yet publicly denied ever reaching out. Like his sister, he added another layer of lies, falsely accused me, and insulted intelligence with an overused excuse: “My account was hacked.” Kindergarten-level damage control. He must’ve forgotten that IP addresses, timestamps, digital footprints, and metadata don’t lie.
What is this, if not a glaring sign that the Akpotis are pathological liars? That dishonesty, manipulation, propaganda, and gaslighting are tools they shamelessly wield?

It’s disgraceful. And worse, it’s dangerous.
From the beginning, I have remained transparent. I have taken every false accusation in stride and responded with facts and evidence. Why can’t they do the same? Why do they resort to media gimmicks, fake narratives, and desperate coverups?
And to those like Isa Simpa trying to claim “this is a private matter”, I say no. There’s nothing private about this. When a public figure uses lies, gender narratives, and international platforms to manipulate public sympathy and attack others, it becomes a public concern.
Okehi associating my name with his laughable fake bank story is yet another attempt to smear, distract, and deceive. But let this be known: the Akpoti family lacks credibility. Their actions speak louder than any press release. And their lies will not go unchallenged.
To all those watching, be warned: truth always outlives deceit.
We must keep exposing it, boldly, factually, and relentlessly.
