The Uplifting Story of Judy’s Triumph: How a Community Came Together to Save a Woman from Online Bullying and Hate
I am making this post to appreciate every man and woman out there who joined hands to save this beautiful woman when the whole world were eager to attend her bur!al.
When I was porting from May’s camp to Judy’s camp, I never knew there are millions of other world people with empathy who observed what I observed. We sensed that someone’s daughter is being âttâcked both physically and spiritually for a choice a grown man made without being compelled.
Judy being a hardcore believer in Igbo traditions including polygamy didnt consider it to be a bad thing to accept a marriage proposal from a man who wanted to add another feather to his cap. That is why Judy couldn’t understand what those saying that she scattered May’s marriage were really saying because she believe as Igbo people, we all should have known that it is never a crime for a man to marry more than one wife.
At the time we came to support Judy, it was like a taboo to try such. Infact, we collected a barage of missiles from people in May’s camp. Sincerely speaking, it was not a mission for the faint hearted. Even Judy was so afraid to make a post. The buIIies were not limited to the comment sections, they also throng to our inbox to insuIt our generations, but we stood our ground.
At a point I began to get discouraged supporting Judy because it seems she has been defeated. It seems all the missiIes May fans has been firing at her were hitting their target. She doesnt post often and she lacked the required energy to motivate her fans to f!ght on.
As we were trying to revive Judy’s dying spirit, May was busy supplying her fans the necessary energy they needed to f!ght on. May was posting her wins almost everyday while we at Judy’s camp were like orphans with no wëâpön to f!ght our enem!es. All we needed from her was to post consistently but she wasn’t doing that.
Judy concentrated on Instagram thinking her Facebook fans has nothing to offer. Maybe someone called her attention and inform her about the online soldiers amassing themselves to challenge the extremism of MayNation.
It wasn’t long, Judy started seeing that not everybody queued up to stöné hër tö death. Life began to come back into her and she started posting consistently and confidently.
Today, people sleep at Judy‘s page waiting to be the first to comment in her next update. It doesnt matter whether their comments are negative or positive, they are all contributing to make her great. I can bet with my life that Judy’s Facebook family gallantly saved her from the grave her hâtërs dug for her. We gave her the reason to come out of hiding and live her life and I am glad that today, she is even more loved than the person she allegedly took her husband from.
Goliath can only boast of being the strongest when there is no David in town. I am glad to be among those who came for Judy’s rescue. Watching her beaming with smile as she teaches women how to sustain their marriage is very pleasant to watch. I am glad she is alive and that her hâters plans never materialize. We won!!!
