Why Ndi Anambra West Must Give Soludo 100% Votes — Dr. Bob-Emmanuel Okonmah

Dr. Bob-Emmanuel Okonmah, a respected APGA stakeholder in Anambra West and founder of the Akalaka Foundation, has called on the people of the area to deliver 100% votes for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo in the forthcoming governorship election, describing him as the most development-driven governor Anambra State has had in recent history.
According to Dr. Okonmah, Governor Soludo has demonstrated exceptional commitment to inclusive and equitable development across all zones of the state, ensuring that even the most riverine and rural communities benefit from his administration’s transformation agenda. He cited the ongoing construction of the Mmiata–Nzam Road, a project that has long been a demand of the people of Anambra West. The road, he noted, is a vital lifeline connecting several communities and boosting trade, agriculture, and transportation across the region.
Dr. Okonmah also commended the rural electrification projects initiated under the Soludo administration, describing them as a turning point for Anambra West communities that have endured years without access to electricity. He said the provision of power is already stimulating small-scale businesses, improving security, and restoring hope to the people. “Governor Soludo is bringing light — both literally and figuratively — to communities that were once forgotten,” he stated.
He further applauded the ongoing construction of the General Hospital at Oroma-Etiti, calling it a landmark healthcare project that will significantly improve medical access in Anambra West. Dr. Okonmah emphasized that the hospital represents Soludo’s genuine concern for the welfare of the people, particularly those living in hard-to-reach areas.
Looking ahead, the APGA stakeholder disclosed that the governor has also committed to the construction of the Umudora–Umuikwu–Onono Road, another crucial project that will open up agricultural corridors and link remote villages to major markets. He noted that such infrastructure will boost productivity, ease movement, and attract more investment to Anambra West.
Dr. Okonmah urged the people of Anambra West to throw their full support behind Governor Soludo and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), stressing that continuity in leadership is essential for the consolidation of the progress already achieved. He highlighted the governor’s track record in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, adding that Soludo’s vision of a “livable and prosperous homeland” is steadily becoming a reality.
“Governor Soludo has proven through action, not words, that he is deeply committed to the transformation of every community,” Dr. Okonmah said. “He doesn’t play politics with development. From Mmiata to Nzam, Oroma-Etiti to Umueze-Anam, his presence is felt. Ndi Anambra West must give him 100% votes to sustain this progress.”
He concluded by calling for unity and collective resolve among Anambra West stakeholders, traditional rulers, and youth leaders to ensure that the zone speaks with one voice during the election. “Our votes should be a statement of gratitude and confidence,” he said. “Soludo has done well — now it’s our turn to stand by him.”
