AIF Media has gathered intelligence within the APGA circle in Anaocha LGA and busted plans by Prof Soludo to ensure that Mr Peter Obi is embarrassed at his home town Agulu during the November 8th governorship election.
The governor”s grand plan is to boast that he won Peter Obi not only in his ward but in his polling unit.
Below are some of the plots to take Agulu by Prof Soludo.
Yesterday, 28th of October, all ward executives of APGA from Anaocha LGA were invited to a meeting by the LG Chairman.
The invitation from our investigation was on the instruction of Gov Soludo. At the end of the meeting, they were given 500,000 naira but those from Agulu were asked to stay back.
From reliable accounts, an additional 500,000 naira was handed to the Agulu delegates. According to our source, Soludo through the Mayor told them that he needed to win Agulu more than any other town.
This morning, they were called to another meeting by Chief Dan Ogbuefi. This time all the village chairmen in Agulu were invited.
The meeting was held at the residence of Chief Dan Ogbuefi. After the meeting, each chairman was said to have received ₦200,000.
Chief Dan Ogbuefi is also coordinating separate meetings involving women leaders and youth leaders in Agulu.
100,000 naira was given to all village chairmen to give to their town criers to announce that only Soludo would be voted for. Another 200,000 naira was given to some Agulu residents who would use vehicles to disseminate the information.
There were instructed to spread the campaign messages throughout Agulu.
But something shocking happened. Two Agulu indigenes identified as JJ and Barimore, refused to accept the money to work against Peter Obi. They were to have stated that hey can not in good conscience collect money to work against their brother for Nigerians to laugh at him as a presidential candidate that can not win his town.
Plans have also been made to deploy minibuses and tricycles on election day to convey sick or aged voters to polling units. Each person conveyed is expected to receive ₦50,000 for this service.
They are allegedly planning to give 150,000 to individuals involved in the distribution of INEC’s Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
The plot is to get the individuals to hand the PVC over to them for private distribution by Soludo’s team.
The Soludo’s team has also been instructed to reach out to those working with Mr. Peter Obi and ask them what they need to abandon him. They also promised those in that category political appointments.
Among those pencilled down to be reached are: Dr. Money, Mr Imoka (Okwuoto), Mr. Onyeanwuna, Zodisco and Chibex. It was reported that they were at a dilemma on how to reach out to Dr. Money or to leave him out on the suspicion, according to them, that they may not be able to buy him over no matter the amount.
Those coordinating these activities are said to include Njedika Oraedum, Chief Dan Ogbuefi, Chief Ben Obi, Chief Azubike Okoye, Mgbenonkiti Ojimmadu, and Agajelu.
Meanwhile, Chief Azubike Okoye has allegedly been going round Agulu, promising that Soludo will give ₦5 million to any ward in the town where he records the highest number of votes.
Sources close to Soludo claim that he is determined to spend whatever it takes to “humiliate Peter Obi in his hometown.” To him, such a political upset would symbolise the beginning of the collapse of Obi’s presidential dream.
Agulu has four wards. They are collecting names and targeting 160 names from each of the wards. They plan to visit their home and give them N20,000 each to come out to vote, promising to give them additional N20,000 after voting.
Huge amount has also been earmarked for those they addressed as “ Destroyers”. Their work will be to scatter everything, should ndi Agulu decide to vote against the governor.
